o hai, im dork.
I never made one of these before, not even on the Evo Forums so I'll make my first one here. I drive a 2006 Wicked White Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 with the SSL package. (Sunroof, Infinity Speaker with factory 8" Infinity subwoofer, Leather, HIDs) I had it for about 13 months now. I found it hiding at the Dodge dealership off 5th ave it the very back of the lot after a fellow called Daniel Shobe with a blue MazdaSpeed3 told me about it. It had a sale pending sign as someone else was trying to buy the car but I still ended up grabbed it. It was a one owner car, bone stock and had 29,200 miles on it. SCORE!
This is my first high performance car I've ever owned after going through three other vehicles so I'm pretty much learning as I'm going. I'm also a broke evo owner who can't dump thousands of dollars into their car so I'm doing it one step at a time. So I started off with all the small stuff first of course.
The day I picked it up.
First thing I did was upgrade the high beams into 55w 6k HIDs for dem dark Alaskan nights.
Then I decided to plastidip the front badge.
Threw in some bright LED reverse bulbs because I suck at backing up. (Don't judge me) Especially in the dark. And also debadged the trunk and put on a stubby antenna.
My stock deck couldn't play MP3's and I had a bunch so I traded my old DiabloSport Predator Tuner for this CD player and plus got 100 bucks on my end.
Then replaced my underhood shifter bushing and my solid base shifter bushings.
So I really wanted to get into the car scene and didn't know any one or where people meet up til I found AMA (Alaska Modified Autos) and that group is where I got to start to meet people and criticize all you want but without that group I wouldn't have known anyone. [Props to Daniel Sarten for created an awesome group]
Then I wanted to see if I liked the wingless look but then realized I only like it on black Evo's for some reason.
Then I finally started riding dirty. Got 30% tint all the way around on every single window. Props to CCA for doing it for me. Very good job.
Did my first legalized motorsport event at the first autocross of the season at Alaska Raceway Park. Also bought brand new Toyo Proxes T1 Sport for the summer.
^Credit to Amanda Moore on the photo. I liked it so much I stole it. Sorry!
Finally decided on custom plates. EVOKED was born. Because it has the word Evo in it duh!
Then entered my car into a carshow for the first time in Wasilla.
Then got bored so I put on a carbon fiber Mitsubishi badge on the trunk.
Took my car to the drag strip on the Kool Kruise. First time ever running the 1/4 mile. My best time of the day was 13.71 @ 100 bone stock car.
Eventually after Autocross at couple events finally got first place in the novice class. First trophy I ever won in my life.
I couldn't afford paying over a grand on a full exhaust system then finally got a smoking deal on a used one. Shout out to my boy Choua!
(Props to Mike Ellis at EMC for doing the O2 and downpipe the first timelol)
Then finally I finally ordered and put in my boost gauge then a wideband.
Got a good deal on an intake from a local Evo owner. Shoutout to EvolvedAK!
Then got my car on the dyno at P3's dyno day. Car was tuned on 90 octane by PIE-R. Highly recommend PIE-R as a tuner. Helped me out a lot.
(Mustang Dyno vs Virtual Dyno)
Got ticketed for tint so removed it.
Got the side windows retinted at 40% this time. Props to CCA for hooking it up again.
Just recently put on my studded tires because Autocross blew out a brand new pair that only lasted one summer lol and dipped the wheels black and put glossifier over it.
I also did the front badge.
The downpipe didn't work on my car so I had to order one because of the ACD fitment issues. And I decided to put on a resonator to lower down the highway drone.
And here's how the car looks.
Car is at 50,800 miles right now.
Ordered some RokBlokz mudflaps and put them on for the winter to try it out. Kinda like how it looks.
Full Mod list as of now:

Denso one step colder spark plugs
90 octane tuned by PIE-R
As of now I'm about at roughly 300AWHP and 250LBS-TQ and tuned is not finished because I'm adding a Turbosmart Wastegate Actuator because mine is old and crappy.
I autocrossed it, drag raced it, commuted to Anchorage from Wasilla five days a week winter and summer, took it to Homer couple times, up Hatcher's Pass countless times and car never left me stranded. Only thing I had to replace was an oil pressure sensor that was a 12 dollar part. Keep up with your maintenance and your car will love you right back. I have a shit load more pictures too. I love this car. I try to baby it as much as I can. Best car I ever owned in my life. And that's pretty much it.
kthxbi!
